Before showering, or bathing on dry skin :
Beginning at the feet and working your way up the body with the brush, use gentle 'circular stroking' motions towards your heart, making sure not to overwork the skin (avoid dry brushing your face). Shower to remove all loose skin cells & be sure to replenish moisture once you are clean. I love to massage our Nectar, body oil as a partner to this practice! Massage the skin, using circular motions towards the heart on warm damp skin after a shower.
For best results use dry brush once or twice daily. Some say this is an energizing process, so you may find it best to introduce to your morning rituals.
Dry brushing should be avoided where there is inflamed skin, and may not be beneficial for sensitive skin, or skin disorders such as psoriasis, or eczema.
Care for your brush : After each use, rinse with clean cool water, shake out, and hang to dry well between uses.
